Practice Founder - Retired

Dr. Michetti was educated in New York receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1968. He served in the US Air Force as the chief of the Podiatry section at Andrews Air Force base from 1968-70. In 1970 he established his podiatry practice with current locations in Gaithersburg and Suitland, Maryland.

During his 40 years in practice Dr. Michetti has served as President of both the State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. He is a former board member of the Council on Teaching Hospitals; has served as Residency Director for the Clinton Community Hospital Podiatric Residency Program and President of the Montgomery County Podiatric Surgical Residency Program. Dr. Michetti is a member of several committees for both the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Michetti is the past Chairman of the Podiatry Sub-section at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. He is frequently called on to lecture at various professional meetings and to supply expert opinions for the State and several insurance carriers.
